Nicola is a costumier based in the South of England. She trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school where the focus was on making, supervising and running shows.
Nicola is very versatile and since her training has worked as a Trainee and Standby in TV, been a Supervisor and Maker for Theatre, designed a couple of short films and spends some of her time doing freelance embroidery.
Highlights so far have been; French knotting Captain Barbosa's waistcoats (Pirates of the Caribbean 5), DIrtying down miners on the beautiful Cornish coast (Poldark Series 1), Making a hat that looked like a sleeping cat (The Road That Wasn't There) and transforming a Granny into a Pirate (Pirate Gran).
